I need to use Chromecast mostly offline in guest mode from both my phones. When Guest Mode turns off after 2 hours, how does it get restarted? Just sign in again? I have enough WiFi to set up Guest Mode and restart if necessary.

Thanks for the information and checking back with me. I responded directly to your email yesterday but that bounced so I guess I need to respond through the website. Anyway, Chromecast didn't work well with my smartphone hotspot so I already returned it for a refund. Maybe I'll figure out something else later!

Thanks for reaching out. If the Guest mode option turns off after 2 hrs, you can simply turn it back on in the Google Home app. For more info about Guest mode, please visit this support website article.
