I have developed a recent issue with my Chromecast with Google TV device.
At least one of my apps (X-plore) no longer seems to display properly on my screen as its margins extend slightly beyond the edges of the monitor screen. I can't seem to find any settings in Chromecast or the app to adjust the display size. I don't see this behavior in any of the other apps, but they don't seem to fill the entire screen so it may not be perceptible. Any suggestions on how to address this issue?

Hi pracom,
Thanks for reaching out. I would suggest that you look at both the resolution/video settings on the TV itself and the file/video you are casting to the Chromecast. Right now, there are no settings for changing the screen size on the Chromecast device itself.
Thanks,
Jennifer

I have attempted adjusting settings on both the TV monitor (different resolutions and refresh rates) and the app without any change in the screen margins extending beyond the bevel of the monitor. I have also noticed this issue with another app. Something must have changed that I can't easily control and the only option I seem to have is to see if resetting the Chromecast to factory settings fixes the issue.

Hello pracom,
Thanks for getting back to us. Are you casting a video content from a Chromecast-enabled app like Netflix and YouTube? Could you share a photo of the issue? You may try to reset the device and check if the same issue will persist.
Thanks,
Jennifer
