I apologize as I can't find the correct category, this isn't chromecast, just a TCL Google TV.
My husband and I both use the TV, we frequently use Youtube and in the past were able to access both of our accounts on the app just by switching accounts. However, for some reason, today this just ended. I went to switch the account to mine and it just went to the pop up to select a Google account, not a youtube account. My account is still listed under "other accounts" but only gives the option to remove. There's no way to add an additional Google account that I am aware of.
This is frustrating because I use YouTube most often. It worked perfectly until today and no settings were changed that I am aware of.
Is there a fix for this? I refuse to believe multiple accounts on Google TV is not allowed, especially when I pay for youtube premium. There is the potential my son messed with settings so if someone can help me it will be appreciated, thank you.

Karma can hit back hard sometimes especially from the Wes M but to get rid of my account you have to log out the delete it from the App & then Add The Wes acct or cmh acct

Thanks,

Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.

SOLUTION FOUND:
just in case anyone sees this and has a similar issue, I found a solution.
It is extremely simple I cannot believed it worked. Going to SETTINGS>SYSTEM>RESTART allowed me to be able to completely access the "other account" on Google TV.
