Setup: Google home with 1x chromecast, 2x nest audio, 1x chromecast-enabled soundbar (polk); android via pixel 5a
Issue: streaming music on spotify to chromecast either via spotify connect or screen cast on pixel produces choppy, laggy, gappy sound that is impossible to listen to. Streaming the same way to nest audio speakers or my polk soundbar works perfectly so this appears to be a chromecast issue... help me!
phone and all speakers/chromecast are all on same wifi band 5ghz

Jeran - thank for the reply, it seems like clearing the cache did the trick (I cleared both Google home and the Spotify app cached data), there were a couple gbs of cached data in there. Many thanks

Hey there tg7,
I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that speaker group issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as this issue would bug me as well. First, go ahead and make sure your Google Home app is up-to-date. Then, double-check how far all the speakers are from the router, try to keep them within 20-feet for the best quality. Finally, clear out the cached app data on the Google Home app.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran
