kids profile chromecast

hi i recently buy a chromecast 4k for my kids tv and  i want to add a kids profile    but the option is not on the menu  except to add a new acount and in new account feature  my kids need to have a gmail account to work ….

Thanks for reaching out. What country are you from? Could you please reboot your Chromecast with Google TV (4K) and plug it in on a different HDMI port on your TV? Also, try to add your kid to your Family Account, once done, check if you'll see your Kid's profile. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset on your Chromecast (4K).

quebec canada already try factory reset my kids don’t have the age to make them an account so  and same thing via the familly app

Thanks for trying. I tried this in our end, and it shows the option to add a Kid account after pressing the "add account" option. Could you please confirm what you can see after you press the add account option? Can you share another screenshot after tapping it?

no i can’t  post a screen shot it won’t work in reply or i can’t find where but in add an acount it juss let me put a mail adress to continue no place say about add a kids profile
