I need to use a vpn due to living in a commune that will kill me if it is known I use western devices, how can I use chomecast whilst using a vpn. I can't not use vpn as I will die if I try. Can someone provide third party code to get around googles very bad software? Not sure why google don't support us oversees with vpn usage. They refuse to let google work with vpn. Are they afraid of putin?

Chromecast is a mass market product designed for the living room, typically that environment does not have a VPN in the path to the internet. Unfortunately, if you've tried it with your VPN of choice and it doesn't work, there are no troubleshooting steps we can share as this isn't supported I'm afraid.

And that's not something we support in this community unfortunately.

we know it doesn't work with vpn, and we know it's because google does not support it. I'm asking for someone to help me fix googles product. I have seen people do it online however it requires third party software and someone who knows how to put it into the device. I am asking for connections to someone like that. we know it can work but that because google is afraid of regime they do not do it, nor make easy. . need someone to help me do something I have heard being referred to as 'cracking' my google device? I need to do this so I can alter its intended programming and make it do things it wasn't supposed to, this way i can connect to vpn on all devices

i understand you don't support it, aka you don't the have inbuilt systems designed to help in foreign countries in distress I think it should be obvious I'm not asking the company I'm asking other individuals in the community. it is not against any laws in the usa to use your own devices however you please and that is all that should matter. if I don't get an answer here i'll probably just go to some other online place anyways. I've been making headway on reddit. though I'm not good at that website.
