I am trying to move my chromecast to a new TV. Volume setup and input
setup work as expected. Power, takes a moment, and then it says "Unable
to reach Google servers". Is a server down?
I did find a workaround. Not the cleanest. But I added another device
(Toshiba TV in this case). When I picked power, it worked fine, but when
I tried volume, the problem seems to have moved. Now I have Toshiba and
Toshiba (1). Toshiba has Volume and...
Steps I've tried:* Connected to a different network* Connected to a
cellular hotspot* Factory reset my chromecast Again, volume and input
work just fine, only power has issues.
