Well said. I posted about this as well. It renders the doorbell useless. You would think a company as big as Google would rectify this in a minute. I don’t see them correcting this at all.

Alexa equipment responds extremely well with other Alexa speakers. They also work extremely well with Sonos which is what I have. No need to hardwire..

Everyone should do themselves a favor and just forget about it.Simple answer… Switch to Alexa. A lot more stable and awesome customer service if and when needed. No forums or messaging, you speak to an actual person,

Alexa is not only a great ecosystem but they have awesome Customer Support if needed. Very easy to contact them and they are very knowledgeable.
