Hi, I have had my Google nest hub 2nd gen just a month over 1 yr. Last night it's playing musing and turns off, I can't turn it back on, I did try the rebooting, the 10 times plug in and out, no luck whats so ever. Please Any suggestions/options?

Thank you

Sundeep.

Hi Sundeep1415,

Thank you for doing the reboot 10 times and we're sorry to hear that your Nest Hub 2nd Gen won't turn back on ― let me ask a few questions to narrow things down: does it have no power or is it just not responding to commands? What is the status of the LED light? Have you tried other power outlets? If so, how did it go?

This is also another way to factory reset your Nest Hub 2nd Gen, try these:

  1. On the back of your Nest Hub, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds.
  2. Your Nest Hub will let you know that it's resetting.
  3. Let go once you hear a bell sound
  4. Check the status of the LED light during the reset.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Dan

Hi Dan, thanks for reaching out, to your question, it looks like there is no power, I have nest home wifi with same adapter, so I tried with different adapters and outlets, but response, I don't see any led or response, it's just a dark screen, I have tried the rocker switch option as well, but nothing happens. It's like a brick right now. Any other suggestions??

Thank you, Sundeep.

Hey there,

Thanks for the reply. May I know from which country you bought your Nest Hub 2nd Gen from and if possible, do you have the date as to when?

Thanks,

Dan

Hi Dan, the product was bought in the USA, 29-Nov-2021.

Thank you,

Sundeep.

Hi Sundeep1415,

We checked your case and saw that your Nest Hub 2nd Gen's warranty has already expired. That said, we won't be able to proceed with its replacement. You can check this link for our replacement policy: https://goo.gle/3vDD0MG

We know that this isn't the answer you're looking for and we hope we can make it up to you in the future. Let me know if you have other questions or concerns, otherwise I’ll be locking this thread after 24 hours.

Kind regards,

Dan
