I have owned a nest doorbell for a little over a year. Suddenly it won't stay charge, I fully charge it and mount it outside. After about 8 hours it has completly died. I have done a factory reset, made sure to use the charger that came with my device, i even adjusted the camera setting so saves battery life. Still not working, any other thing i can do? Or must it be replaced? My warranty expired 2 months ago
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. The battery drains faster in cold weather or if there's a lot of activity (even if the activity isn't saved as a clip).
When it comes to keeping your Nest Doorbell (battery) or Nest Cam (battery) up and running, here are some articles and troubleshooting guides for the best charging practices:
I hope those articles help shed some light on charging and maintaining battery levels of your Nest doorbell or camera. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for your help here, Archie.
@Talamqntes95 I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. How's it going with your Nest Doorbell? Were you able to read the information and check the links that Brad has shared? In case you have an update, you know where to find us.
Thanks for lending a hand, Archie and Brad.
