Hate Google cameras now

1.  I hate Home.  I prefer Nest.  My newer generation camera can't join Nest and I am pissed.

2.  I HATE that in order for me to change my wifi setting to a new internet provider at the same house, I have to reset the **bleep** camera and start over.  Ring lets me just do it.  Why does Google make it so hard?

What Google has done to the Nest line is a disgrace. Taking functions away that are in the Nest App. Not being able to add cameras to the Nest App which is superior to the Google Home App. Customter service used to be great it sucks now - just a bunch of people that can not answer anything and look at the same articles that you looked at before reaching out to them. This is just another story how one company can ruin such a great company by burying it and not understanding what the customers loved about it in the first place. As we all know Google just sucks at these things and they don't care. We as Nest users can bitch all we want but nothing will ever happen. I had to buy a new camera to replace one of my outdoors ones and this is the worst thing ever. I am going to to return it. I will also be looking to replace all of my nest products this year. They work, but I am not going to be supporting them anymore. It is too bad, because I really like what "Old" Nest was. Google Nest just sucks!!

Hatred that surpasses the ages.       Google took a great company/products and made sure they are useless and unreliable.      GoogFLOODS.  hate them.       worthless doorbell designed for no-one. (stupid "push notification" is their WHOLE genius concept of a door-BELLLLLL.     Its in the name google.

BUt no.    they want to force a ridiculous and equally useless "MAX".   still doesnt DING DONG. and 'resets' itself if it doesnt have the doorbell connected...    wtf...

I warn everyone i can ...  never buy anything google,  its cheap, moronically designed to extract thousands more $$$, and then  even with third party products THEY sell and profit from...    never works more than once a day... if that .

#Google is the "Bell Atlantic" of today, and I can't wait for it to go out of business.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. The new Nest Cameras and Nest Doorbells are exclusive to the Google Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. We’ll take note of it and ensure that we'll learn from your experience as we continually improve our products and services. Rest assured that we'll take this as feedback and learn from this to deliver a better process and experience in the future.

Regards,

Emerson

You can take what I said and what most of the Nest community says and tell us you will listen to us - you will not. When Google changed the status light so that we could not turn it off on the Cameras and I had to take a piece of black tape to a $300 camera to hide the light. The product was headed down hill then. It will never cease to amaze me how a company can ruin such good products. Google is out of touch with it's user base for Nest and for that matter other products. Maybe if you had developers that were in the US and understood the consumer things would be different. We all know that nothing will change and the fact is the line will get worse. This is why I now own a camera from Arlo. I am testing it out and it appears that it will meet my needs, and guess what I was able to talk to someone about the product and have questions answered. Early testing looks like it will work and do the things that I want to. Do I like change no and no one does, but once I put it through all the testing and I am satisfied with it I will be replacing all of my Nest products. Just so you know that is going to be about 14 Cameras 4 thermostats and 2 door bells, and I will unload the 2 subscriptions for our houses. I have but one question for you, can I have an address to send this stuff to?  I would prefer the President/VP of the Nest division because I will be putting a letter in the box explaining why $3500 of Nest products are on his desk!!
