Hello -
We recently got a nest doorbell and it plays the softest chime ever. We are trying to get the doorbell to play a chime/ring on a nest mini speaker that we purchased. I understand this is possible but can't figure it out. Can somebody please help or point me in the right direction? Thanks, Seth

Turn on the "Visitor announcements" option (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451) for your Google Nest Battery Doorbell. Your Nest speaker has to be in the same Google Nest "home/structure" as your doorbell. If your speaker is set to "Do not disturb", announcements will not come through.

Okay - thank you. Now when the front doorbell rings, the Nest Mini says "ding dong, somebody is at your front door doorbell."
Is there a way to just make the speaker play the chime and not voice "somebody is at your front door doorbell"?

Customers in this forum keep asking for that option, but Google Nest just gives us both the ding-dong and the oral announcement.
