Hi, I took my doorbell done in order to charge and now I'm unable to remount it. The release button in the back is stuck in the off position, there nothing in the back to hold and secure my doorbell to the wall.

I've seen several other reports like this in this forum. Apparently the mounting mechanism is sometimes faulty, which is unfortunate in a device that needs to be repeatedly unmounted and remounted. You could try contacting Support (https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp) to see a replacement.

Thank you for providing me with link, I was able to speak to someone regarding the faulty mechanism, however they are requesting I provide a purchase receipt on something purchases several months ago in order to provide with a replacement device. I was hoping Google would be able to help resolve this issue swiftly since it is a known fault of the device.
