Wireless nest doorbell

Hello,

I've been trying to figure out a way for my Nest wireless doorbelll to make use of a pre-existing wireless chime I have installed, but also functioning on its own battery. Essentially, just to trigger the pre-existing chime but also prompt my phone/nest hub when someone rings the doorbell.

Is this something that is possible? Or do I now have to return the wireless doorbell and purchase the wired version instead?

Thank you for your help.

J

I have the same issue. I read that the only way you can do it is by wiring it directly to wireless chime .

I'll look for that blog again for you
