Google Chromecast - lack of space. Misc. storage

Hi,

can anyone tell me how to access and decrease the size of the “misc. internal storage”. It is eating 1.6GB of space and every time I clear the cache that lasts only a few days.

I have deleted already a lot of apps.

just curious why I can’t access this “misc. internal storage”.

help!!!

Hi @melyh 

There is storage needed for caching. Without this, the device wouldn't work correctly.
You can expand the storage if needed but this costs some effort.
