Nest thermostat changing to comfort mode by itself

• I have had a Nest thermostat for about a week now, last night it switched to comfort mode on its own at 3 am while everyone was asleep. I have all the presence sensing settings turned off and have it set to a schedule to be in sleep mode from 10 pm to 6:45 am.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the trouble. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? Also, in what country are you located? Were you able to try restarting your thermostat and reset its schedule? If not yet, please do so and monitor if the issue persists.

I am having the same problem despite restarting the thermostat. It keeps changing to the “comfort” setting of the coolest room in the house, despite setting another sensor multiple times in the app.  The heater goes on randomly and overheats the house. This problem has been going on for several months. Previously, it has worked as expected.
