3 month youtube premium trial/ google music playing adds on google home devices

I Just signed up for a 3 month Youtube premium, which is supposed to include "YouTube and YouTube Music ad-free, offline, and in the background".  I have signed into Youtube music on the google home app.  It reflects youtube premium as the account once i sign in.  Playing music on any devices results in ad laden music playback.  I have a mix of nest mini, google home, and google displays.  

Not impressed with the service-this is part of why I'm testing with a trial.  I have found many others with similar issue that seems to have resolved itself eventually.  What is the fix for this?

If this does not resolve, I'm not subscribing.

Do you get ads if you play YTM on your phone throught the app?  If not do you get ads if you start YTM on the phone and then cast to the speakers? Are you using voice match? Are you the person who did the initial setup of the speakers? Is YTM set as the default music service? Sorry for all the questions, but it can make it easier to find where the problem may originate.

Your subscription is working as your phone has no ads. They only quirk that I know that worked for someone else was to disable any stereo pairs they had and it fixed it. I,m going to guess you don't have any stereo pairs. I would do a chat with an actual Google Home tech. Heres the link. after you do the form and it gives an answer use the contact and select chat, it is much faster than trying to get a phone call.
