Can we use our nest audio stereo pairs to play our google TV audio please?

I have a stereo pair setup with my 2 nest audio units in my room. I also have a Chromecast Google TV in my room. It would be cool I actually thought it would be expected that you can use them to play the audio from the TV. 

 

Gosh google you could even write the software so that there is an option for the TV to be a centre channel and the stereo pair to be the Left and Right Side. Giving a sort of multi-channel effect. That would be an amazing selling point.

I agree, submit a request.  Why would Google not already have this?  It's just common sense especially when paired with their Chromecast for Google TV product.

Hi, any solution to this problem? I have a chromecast with Google TV and two Nest audios, I would like to be able to play the sound in my Nest group but I can't!

It is currently not possible. This is a user to user support group. To have this added as a feature please use the feedback function in the Home app.

So, these devices are not ready to work together, and you ask me to send a feedback to see if they decide to implement it?

Yes, the "experts" here, like myself, are not Google employees. We are users who have worked with these products at home enough that we can help people overcome a good majority of their Google Home problems. If you want to see your request implemented the best way is through the feedback portal in the Google Home app. That way, Google employees will see it.

Thanks for your message. I finally returned all the devices. They didn't work as expected and it's a pity! I did all the possible tests, but there is something in the software that limits its use as a speaker connected to the television, for example, a delay appears that does not appear with other devices that I have. It also did not work connecting it to google tv.
