Hello! I just want to completely echo the question in this post:
I have the exact same problem. I wish I could contact the person who submitted that topic and ask if they ever found a solution.
It's a huge bummer that the google nest audio doesn't use a standard cable size. Obviously using standard cables would be ideal, but if Google wanted to sell a proprietary, overpriced extension cable for the nest audio, that would also be a huge improvement. I just want the freedom to put my speakers where ever I like. 😕

In case it helps anyone, it looks like this cable works with the nest mini:

So, for my situation, I think I'm going to get a couple of nest minis instead of the nest audio so that I can place them where I like. Still a huge bummer because I wanted to use the nest audio in this particular room, but whaddya gonna do. 🤷🏻♀️

I do have a question. Why do you so quickly lock down threads? It feels like that prevents conversation between members of the community.

Hi there,
We apologize if this thread will be closed sooner than you would have liked. As Community Specialists, we occasionally do a bit of housekeeping to keep the conversations in our community fresh and relevant. This includes locking threads after a period of inactivity.
I'll be locking this thread in 24 hours. Feel free to create a new one if you have more questions or have other concerns in the future.
Thanks,

Thanks for the response! Do comments on my own posts count as activity?
