After only 8 months, the Hub will only show a G in dimmed light, there is no voice or anything. I talked to support and they had me rest it 20 times and told me to keep doing it till it works. Anyone have a better fix, since now I have a paperweight?

I would suggest giving support another chat. If the device is still under warranty they might be able to replace it.
