I would like to use the Google Nest WiFi Router and Point to find my IphoneXR when lost in the house. I went to the Google Home App and enabled voice match and critical alerts. I then said "Hey Google find my Iphone." The Google response was two chimes on the Iphone repeated three total times and an announcement that my Iphone would be ringing. But it did not ring and the transacted ended itself.
What did I do wrong? I don't have or even understand the "separate speaker" requirement. I did notice that when I went to Voice Match I clicked on "Add Device with Voice Match" but I got a message that "No devices found" on the same Wi-fi network." It appears that my Iphone is not receiving the message to ring from the Google set-up.
Please help me find what I am doing wrong in very easy simple steps.
Thank You

Hey Sackermanatlaw,
Thanks for posting — let's see what's going on.
Could you check the settings of your iPhone to be sure that all notifications are turned on? If your phone didn't ring when it announced that it will, most likely it's a specific setting on your phone that you need to check. We'll wait for your update once you've done this step.
Regards,
Abi
