Hi all,
Apologies if this is covered elsewhere. I've got my Home Max set up through an aux to my TV to play audio through when the TV is on. My question is, can I play it through the other Google speakers in my house? May potentially move some of the minis into the same room to give an effect of surround sound but I often have sport on and like to be able to hear what's going on in other rooms.
I know I can cast audio from my phone or get Google to play a radio station etc but I want the audio from the TV to play through everything.
Thanks all.

Hi Grob88,
Thank you for reaching out. That is a great question, I would be more than happy to help answer it.
I believe what you are trying to set up is a speaker group.
With a speaker group, you can group any combination of Google Nest or Home speakers and displays and Chromecast devices together for synchronous music throughout the home. Your music and audio from Chromecast-enabled apps are instantly available to stream. It is important to note that this feature would only work for audio/music.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thank you.

Hello Frances,
I actually have the same question. You say that we can create a speaker group, but can you play the music that comes from the aux input of the Google Home Max on the group ?

I have the same question... Considering to connect my turntable to the Google Max but am interested in knowing if it will stream to the rest of my Google speakers in my home!

Curious if anyone got this working? I would also like to play music from my turntable across all google speakers through the Max AUX cord.

I have Google Home Max, and couple of Nest Speakers set up as a speaker group. Can I use the "aux in" 35mm jack on the Home Max and be able to play the external source audio on ALL of my speaker groups?
