Nest Hub 2 mixing languages

Hi!

I´m having an issue with the Nest Hub 2, with a mix of two languages on the screen. I have tried hard reset, and also switching both system language on iPhone and Assistant language to English, and then back to Norwegian. Then the Nest Hub works fine for a few minutes, before mixing English and Norwegian again.. 

I can see many people struggle with the same thing, but haven´t found a solution on Google.

Any solution to this?

Hi Larsen2000, 

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted.

A few questions: was this working before? If yes, when did the issue start? Are you only using Norwegian or do you have a secondary language inputted in the Assistant language?

Try to set the Assistant language to English UK, then unplug your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen). After a minute, switch it back to Norwegian and plug in the display. Observe the unit and let me know if it is still mixing languages after awhile.

Hi, it´s a brand new device, and I can see other users around the world experience the exact same thing.. I have already tried setting language back to English UK, restart etc - but the same thing happens every time. It seems like the device are mixing languanges when using iOS devices, I can see people reporting it works fine when switching the exact same setup to Android..

Chiming in, please provide the Google Home app version on your phone, and the firmware version of your Nest Hub (2nd gen). Also, please fill out this form with all the needed information then let me know once done.

I got it here! Thanks for checking it out and filling out the form again. While you're waiting for one of our specialists to contact you via email, try adding a secondary language under your Assistant language. Make sure to add the one mixing on the display and let me know how it goes.
