Nest mini speakers gradually start crackling

Hello.

Have three nest mini speakers. Two are a stereo pair in one room, the third in mono in a different room.

Having an issue that others have had in the past without any solution. Hope to revise the issue and see if anything has been done.

Issue:

Speakers work just fine, all seems good for about 24-72 hours.

Gradually little pops and crackles start entering the audio. this has happened after only 10 hours, but generally happens after 24 hours or more.

Eventually over the course of the next several hours, the pops and crackles become so bad that it is unlistenable.

Temporary solution:

Unplug all three units, wait 30 seconds, plug back in, wait for all units to get back online, then this resets that process.

Repeat this whole scenario over and over again

Please, if you work for google or nest, do not give the generic reply asking if I have tried resetting the unit, plugging directly into a plug (no power strip), doing a total factory reset and setting up again from scratch, etc. Yes to all of the above. I've already done all of those several times.

What is so puzzling about this is that it happens gradually. In my experience with digital and analog electronics, Things generally work, or they don't work correctly. Never had something work, then gradually start to have an issue over time, only to go away temporarily, then come back. To me, this must be a software issue that doesn't happen to everyone.

This would seem much easier to deal with if the problem was there whenever I plugged it in. I'd prob assume the problem was in my office or something.

I have also exchanged one of the units at best buy, same result.

I'm about to get rid of all the nest speakers, and try a different setup, but of course I'd rather not have to do that. I like all other aspects of the speakers.

Posting this as a last ditch resort in case there is some solution I'm not aware of.

PLEASE HELP!

Thanks

If your Google Nest Home is crackling or popping, try a system reboot. If the issue still persists, disable the Ultrasound detection feature. If none of the above works, reset the device.
