Adding New Family Members

Hi, 

I’ve been trying to add my spouse to the app so he can also view the house. I keep getting an error message that says “can’t send invite right now”. What am I supposed to do? He has an outlook email account.

@Purplebug 

Google Nest "household" members have to have a gmail account. When they don't, Google Nest returns this misleading error message.

Ok we got past that step but now the app is showing him offline and he can’t get on.

Hey Purplebug,

 

Got it. To confirm, did you invite him using his Google Account? Make sure your devices are connected to the same network and you are on the correct home structure.
