Adding a user to Google Home is not working, please fix

I am unable to add my wife to my Google Home account.  I am selecting the home and then + and inviting a user.  I have put her email in and sent the invite many, many times and she has never received, the email address is correct and it is not going to spam, etc.  When I try and send invites to multiple other emails that I have, they either throw an error or never go through.

Well did you find out what we do cuz I've been trying desperately to add three old email account so that I can retrieve my contacts I'm losing my mind over this I desperately need help and I don't know how to find it so I thought I'd check in and see if you figured anything out okay thanks have a great day

I desperately need to add three old email accounts to my current Google account and my I have a current email Sherry Curry challenge # but I have three or four old ones I need to add to retrieve all my contacts and I can't seem to do it help please

Hey folks,

 

Rich10, anyone who joins the customer’s local Wi-Fi network gets an option in the Google Home app to join the home. This action doesn’t give the person the access to the customer’s devices, but it sends a request to the current home members. To make sure, are you inviting a regular Google Account? Make sure that the person you're inviting has a Google Home app installed on their phone. Check this article for more information.

 

sherrychimes, if you're trying to recover your old Google Account, there's no guarantee that you can retrieve your contacts even if you can invite it to your household, since you still need the password for each account.
