App Not Allowing Login or Send email

My Nest app will not allow me to sign in. When I request a password reset link, I don’t get an email. Few pointers before you ask/say (1) no I haven’t migrated my account (2) bought the thermostat new years ago (3) same/original house it was installed in when taken out of the package

Hey there,

 

Thanks for checking. Give these additional steps a try:

 

1. Double check that you're signing in with the right email address. Make sure your email address is spelled correctly. If you use multiple email addresses, make sure to use the email that you used to sign up for your account. 

2. Double check that you’re signing in with the right password. Your password is case-sensitive, so make sure you use the same capitalization every time.

3. Check the Nest Service status. If there's a service outage, you'll need to wait for service to resume before you can sign in to your account.

4. Reset your password. Select Forgot Password and follow the instructions. You'll receive an email to reset your password. If you don't get the password reset email, you might have entered the wrong email address. Double check that you entered the email address that you used to sign up for your account.

I have tried all of these. Nothing works. The system is fine. My husband is logged in on his Samsung device.

Got it — we appreciate your efforts here. Could you uninstall and reinstall the Nest app then try it again? If it doesn’t work, another way to reset your Nest account password is through the web browser by going to https://goo.gle/2qjvVSU.
