Can't remove LEDVANCE SMART+ Bulb from Google Home

Dear Community

I'm desperately trying to remove a LEDVANCE SMART+ Bulb form my Google Home. The Bulb was connected through Bluetooth SMART+ therefore there is no connector or linked service which I can remove. Opening the Device in Google Home simply does not have any remove, delete or unlink options. Any Ideas how I can do this? In the meantime I tried to reset the Bulb, which worked however its still appearing in my Google Home.

I finally found the Google support article about the Seamless Setup of LEDVANCE/Sylvania SMART+ devices. https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9482043?sjid=13583816928948080984-EU#zippy=%2Cunlink-yo... 

However the mentioned "Tap Unlink LEDVANCE/Sylvania and then Unlink" link does not exist in my Google Home 😞

Hi all, just to inform the community. I contacted Google Support and received the following message:

After reviewing the details, I can confirm that this is a known issue with the Google Home App. Our engineering team is fully aware and actively investigating it. Please rest assured that we are doing everything we can to resolve it as quickly as possible. We truly appreciate your understanding and patience in the meantime.

Another suggested step is trying to disconnect the device from your Google account. Here are the steps:

  1. Make sure that all members that control the LEDVANCE SMART+ Bulb can remove the device before you unlink from your account.

  2. Make sure that your LEDVANCE SMART+ Bulb is powered on.

  3. Open the Google Home app.

  4. Tap Settings and then Works with Google.

  5. Under Linked services, tap the devices that you want to disconnect, then select Unlink account.

  6. Tap Unlink to confirm your choice.
