Cannot connect Google Home to MyDyson Account

I've encountered the same problem as @AlexM89as detailed in this post: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Apps-Account/MyDyson-account-can-t-connect-to-Home/m-p/423091

When trying to connect my Dyson account with the Google Home app using the same credentials that work perfectly within the Dyson app (MyDyson), I receive an error message. Interestingly, when attempting to reset my perfectly valid password through the "I've forgotten my password" link, I don't receive the expected email, leading me to suspect an issue with Dyson's API or its integration with Google Home.

I'd like to note that the main difference between my situation and Alex's is our geographical locations—I'm based in the US and he's in Romania. Given this, I think this issue might be more widespread than initially considered and therefore, it warrants immediate attention. I kindly urge the team to escalate and investigate this matter thoroughly.

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I know how challenging it is when you're having issues linking your MyDyson's account to the Google Home app. To confirm, have you tried using a different phone/tablet? Also, what type of smart device do you have (lights,plugs,switch)?

 

Please note that the URL portal used to link partners in the Google Home app is managed by the partner themselves. Since you've exhausted all the troubleshooting steps and are still having issues linking a MyDyson account, it is best to reach out to the Dyson support team, as they are expected to support the integration of their products with Google Nest and Home devices.
