Dreame MiHome app bot linking

The dreame MiHome app stopped working again. When trying to connect apps after the while process I get a "cannot reach" error. This was flagged as a server error a few months back but the issue seems to be back.

Sorry to hear that you're having issues connecting your MiHome account to the Google Home app. A few questions: what is the version of the Google Home app on your phone? Do you have issues linking to other home automation accounts? To further isolate the issue, please try using a different phone or tablet.

I’ve been trying to link Dreame Bot Mihome, but I’m getting the error “Something went wrong. Try again.” 

I have the latest google home app downloaded for iOS.

 

Looks like a bunch of people had a similar issue before that turned out to be a server issue.

yms7, thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the delay. Have you had the opportunity to try the steps Muddi provided? Also, is it working on the native app? Try relinking it to the Google Home app and observe if it makes a difference.

@Juni Link seems to be working now! thanks . I've added the device. Testing running from Google home/assistant in a bit.
