Error in connecting home App and devices

Hello, hope you guys can help me with this issue.

Recently my partner and I ran into a power outage across the neighborhood. Once we got the power back on half of our devices decided to come back and work properly, while others didn't work at all. I've tried to access them on the app but the app itself is also giving an error on the top saying that it can't connect. This issue happened before the power outage by the way. However I still can control some of the devices that still work, while others won't come back online. Any thoughts to what this could be or how to reset the home app or the corresponding devices?

The other devices are Cync, govee and other  lights.

I have the same problem. After maybe APP update yesterday I tried to reconnect my Sonos, Fibaro and Philips Hue. Getting "An error occurred - please try again". Tried to uninstall app and so on, nothing working.

Tried to follow: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Apps-Account/Google-Home-connecting-Philips-Hue-Something-wen... (but not working for me either)

Hi, @Cdub_socks33

Thank you so much for posting in the community. I’m truly sorry that you cannot access some devices on the Google Home app. Let's work together to find a solution.

It seems that some devices could be offline, which is why you cannot access them. To better understand your situation, I have some questions:

  • What devices are not working on the Google Home app?
  • Are you using an Android or iOS device?
  • Is the Google Home app updated?

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:

  • Reboot your Wi-Fi router.
  • Force close and then reopen the Google Home app.
  • Uninstall and then reinstall the Google Home app.
  • Use another device to log in to the Google Home app.

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Ana.
