Hi,
I have discovered when my Samsung TV (QA65S95B) is connected to a receiver the volume controls via google home do not work - however when I change the sound output setting on the TV to 'TV Speakers', Google Home volume controls do work (via the buttons in the app and via voice commands).
The receiver is not connected to the wifi network - it is only connected to the TV via HDMI eARC.
The TV is connected to google home via Smart Things, and all other controls work normally within Google Home when the receiver is connected, and volume controls work as they should when using Smart Things. When opening Smart Things on the TV, the receiver is shown as a device and can be selected to change sound output between the receiver and TV speakers. However, the receiver is not shown as a device within Smart Things on my Galaxy S23.
So only when the TV output settings is set to 'receiver' is when volume controls do not work within google home.
If anyone has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
