Hi, I've been having problems with the google assistant for a few days both on the phone and from the devices at home. If I try to command something, the message always comes out that the device is not configured, I reset the phone, changed google's psw, reset the various goggle nests I have, but the problem got worse as I can't configure them anymore, because it's on the app google home both from the assistant always comes out an error msg that can not connect to the occount. There is no way to reset or figure out why?Screenshot_2023-02-19-16-56-33-408_com.google.android.apps.chromecast.app.jpgScreenshot_2023-02-19-16-57-00-679_com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.jpg

Hey maxevy7276,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's see what's going on.

Are you using a regular Google Account? Try reinstalling your Google Assistant and Google Home app. Reboot your phone, router and devices to refresh the connection. Also, reset your Google Nest speaker again after reinstalling your apps.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,
Alex

Hello and thanks for the reply. the account has been used on a regular basis to manage home automation, lights, heating, TV, appliances for over 4 years without problems. I have already tried to uninstall everything from the phone, I tried doing the factory reset and removing the cameras from the application from Nest. I also tried to install everything on another phone, but the google assistant problem on my account remains. From any phone or tablet it won't let me go into the assistant settings. Therefore it's not a hardware or software problem but a google bug on my account.

Hello everyone,

I appreciate the help, Alex.

@maxevy7276, the message that you're getting usually appears when you're using a Google Workspace Account or other email accounts that have high security and privacy settings. Using a personal Google Account for the setup of your device is highly recommended. If you're already using personal email, turning on voice match might also help. Here's how: open the Google Home app > Tap the Account icon at the top right > Choose Assistant Settings > Hey Google & Voice Match > Other devices > Tap on the device name that you're currently setting up > If it asks you to turn on voice match, follow the on-screen prompts.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,
Lovely
