Hi, I have two Haier air conditioner on my hOn smart home app. The account was linked in the home app and has been working for the last 2 years but 2 days ago Google home lost control. I unlinked the hon account then tried to link it again. No joy, it just says unable to access hOn smart home, try again.
Any ideas?
Mike.

Hi everyone,
I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s further look into it. Can you still control your air conditioner on hOn smart home app? Try to do these steps:
Let us know how it goes.

Hi Alex, yep tried all of what you suggested, and yes I could still control the Aircon with the hOn app. I got bored trying all these things and forgot about it for a few days. Then one evening I tried to link it again and no problem it linked again without me doing anything. I think the glitch was somewhere else, not with me. However, if I run a routine where Google turns everything off it will turn the Aircon off then tell me it can't reach the Aircon! If I speak to Google, no problem, full control it's just in the routine. I'm not worried as it makes me smile when it does something then tells me it can't.
Mike.

Hello Mike,
It’s good to hear that your air conditioner is back and working with your Google Home! Let’s try to change the action in your routine. Instead of using the action “Adjust Home devices” to control your air conditioner, use “Try adding your own” and then type the command you’re using to control your air conditioner. I.e., “Turn on [air conditioner name].”

Alex

Controlling air conditioning devices on Google Home has lost functions. Now there are only on and off buttons. Before, I was also able to change the temperature, modes (cooling, ventilation, dehumidifier, heater) and wind speed. I have already reconnected the compatible appointment app(s) (Tuya/Positivo/Smart Life), but the problem persists, highlighting that it started recently, less than 1 month ago. I note that Google Assistant itself does not regulate previously recorded routines/functions that worked.
