Google universe all screwed up. Help getting back on line

So far, I I have been unable to get help with this issue. It SHOULDN'T BE THIS HARD.

Tried to add a VPN to my router. Managed to completely mess up Google universe. No VOICE control, hubs malfunctioning when they can get online. Have Removed VPN from router. 

How do I delete ALL Google settings, especially HOME, to start things over again. Tried deleting HOME. Didn't work. Can someone help?

I don't know anything about VPN, but my Nest products work great with the stock-standard router I have.

Did you have a problem with voice control before VPN change?

Try Factory resetting one speaker. Get back to basics.

No help, but I figured it out myself.  Overall, Google support is AWFUL, in all its forms.
