Not for me. Still very slow and cameras won't load. Very slow scrolling

We're aware of reports of the Google Home app crashing or freezing on iOS devices. Our engineering team is actively investigating these reports and working on a fix. In the meantime, you can try leaving Public Preview on home.google.com and re-opening the Home app to see if this resolves your issue while we work on a fix.

  • When did the issue start?
  • How many devices do you have?
  • What type of devices do you have?
  • If you have multiple devices, do all the devices have the same issue?
  • Did you receive any error message on your Google Home App?

It's affecting all 17 of my cameras. Started about a week ago. No error message

Hi Debora,

 

After updating my devices to iOS 18.3.1, I can no longer use Google Chromecast.

I reset it and tried to set it up again, but the configuration process doesn’t complete.

 

There is a message saying that Chromecast might be set up, but it was not possible to establish communication from my iPhone.

Local network access is enabled.

 

Can you help me, please?

It says if I leave the public preview I can't rejoin again. Is this true?

Are there any updates on this issue? In its current state the public preview of the Google Home app is barely usable.

While it seems the most recent update to the app fix d the crashing and freezing of the app it didn’t fix everything. I still cannot view live videos in the larger format (phone sideways) and cannot add back my temperature sensors that the first awful update somehow removed. The app can’t seem to find them now.
