Ring my phone detects multiple phones. How can I remove my old, dead phone from being detected?

I had a phone. A pixel 3a. He died in the pool.

I got a new phone. A pixel 8a

Now, when I ask google to find my phone by making it ring, I get an answer saying that it detected 2 phones (8a and 3a).

How can I make the "find my phone" tool forget about my dead pixel 3a?

Thanks

I called google, and after a factory reset of my google home app, and my google nest wifi mesh network, the issue remains and I've been told that the problem should go away in a month or so, after an update is pushed to my devices. Let's close this ticket.

Just to help people help me, I feel the need to add the following.
- My mistake, the dead phone is a Pixel 5a, not 3a.

- All the functionnalities, including ringing my new phone (Pixel 8a), works just fine. I just want to avoid having to remind google that 8a is the current phone and that the 5a should not be in the list.

- I used the Security option in my google account to sign out the Pixel 5a, but it did not have any effect on the current issue.

- The old phone died 2 weeks ago.
