First of all, I would like to say, "This is not a deal breaker." It is not necessary for me to do this, or my world will come crashing down, and I'm throwing everything in the garbage. NO. None of that B.S.
However, I am morbidly curious as to why this isn't working.
I recently purchased a "Tapo c510w" (for outside), and already had a few Kasa cameras (all the same model), all of which show up in the "Google Home App". Tapo has an app which you can use to view/control both Tapo & Kasa cameras, so I am using that one currently. Here lies the issue: you cannot view the cameras in the "Google Home App". I have unlinked/linked, powered off/powered on, ...etc and done everything I can think of, but could someone please tell me, "Why, if the cameras, are CONNECTED to the app, shouldn't you be able to VIEW them?" Or what's the point in them being connected to Google Home in the first place?

Ok, so after nosing around a bit, is it, that you can only use "Google Home" on a tv, like a chromecast, or Google TV, to view the cameras, and NOT your phone app?

And on Google Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max.
If you have a smart sensor/smart light you can have it trigger the camera to show on these displays.

Hi jj77669,
Thanks for posting in this community.
I understand you're looking for clarification on why your Tapo c510w and some Kasa cameras are connected to the Google Home app but don't offer live viewing, despite your efforts to troubleshoot by unlinking/relinking and power cycling them. It is my pleasure to assist you with this concern.
I recommend contacting Tapo and Kasa customer support directly. They can provide tailored guidance and help determine if the issue is hardware or software-related, as their device has specific features that differ from standard Google products.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Regards,
Virna
