Tuya based Routines stopped working on Google Home app

Hello,

So, for a few months I have intergraded Tuya app with Google Home app and I'm using it for giving voice commands on Tuya devices and routines at home.To be more specific I've used Tuya based tap to run scenarios on lighting by creating Personal and Home routines with voice commands on Google Home app.

Everything worked fine until today when I gave a voice command for a routine on my nest and it responded "I can't find Tuya smart".

I ve re linked the tuya app on Home app many times and also also erased an recreate the same Routines on Google Home app, cleaned cache on both apps and restarted my modem but I get the same error message from my nest.

The devices or group of devices still work fine with voice commands.

Does anyone have faced a similar problem and found any solution?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Stelios,

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out.

Go ahead and uninstall then reinstall your Google Home app. Do a sequential reboot to your router and Google Home and Nest devices by unplugging them for three minutes, then plugging them back in. Activate your routine afterwards and let me know how it goes.

Best,
Lovely

The problem seems to be fixed the next day without any further actions taken by me. I will keep your solution for future reference if this problem reappears.

Hi Stelios,

Great! We're glad to know that your Routines can now control your Tuya devices again. As this is already resolved, I'll go ahead and close this thread within the next 24 hours. Let me know if you need anything else.
