I have long been frustrated that I am not able to use my Google Workspace Account with Google Home and the various devices around my home. It seems ridiculous that most of my stuff is on an account that my Home can not see, so calendar requests, contact requests etc. etc. do not work, as my Home is linked to a separate GMail account that I don't use for anything else.
This has just got more frustrating now I have purchased a Google TV Streamer, in part because it has the ability to control other devices in my home from the device. The problem is that my devices are on my GMail account and all the content I have purchased to watch is on my Workspace account. Switching between the accounts to get to the different parts is a right faff.
If Google say that Workspace accounts are for work only, why have they allowed me to purchase films using it, which I can't see when logged into the account that can see my home lighting, Nest security cameras etc..
Can anyone explain what is happening with this, or whether there is a sensible work around for it?
