Adjust event length

We have a new nest doorbell 2nd gen and we are trying to figure if there is a way to lengthen the time of the video event. We have looked all over the camera settings and have found nothing. Is it possible to adjust the size of the event? If so how is it done?

I have an interest also in this resolution. From what I know, there is no way to correct this and somebody posted about it a couple of weeks ago. Google needs to address this issue as it is a major flaw in their product.

Thanks for posting here in the Community and for sharing with us your concern about the recorded video length from your Nest Camera. Let's see what we can do here. To confirm, how long are you going to extend your recorded video length?

Give these steps a try:

• Open your Google Home app> select your Nest Camera.
• Go to settings> video and choose the maximum length for event video recordings. 
  • 3 minutes
  • 2 minutes
  • 1 minutes
  • 30 seconds (default)
  • 15 seconds
  • 10 seconds

How about 10 minutes which would be a reasonnable amount of time? Plus, if the 10 minutes were not sufficient, it should be possible to choose a additionnal clips of additionnal 10 minutes each.
