My floodlight camera stopped working with Google Assistant voice-control on my iphone and Hub. My routines for the device also stopped working. Everything was fine for 6-months, from installation until yesterday.
I can still manually control the light from Google Home on my iPhone and view the camera the same way. So the hardware is definitely online & connected. It is just that voice control and routines no longer work.
I’ve rebooted and reinstalled all devices and apps.

Hi Brad - The problem resolved itself in a few days. I'm really glad I did not take the advice of your phone technician and factory-reset the light/camera (which would have been an issue in itself, climbing a ladder to the roof of my garage).

I have exactly the same problem except I have a pixel 6 pro. Camera and light can be controlled manually from the phone but routines don't work to turn on the light. But I can adjust the brightness with a routine. On my hub I can stream the camera but it won't turn on the light manually.

Hi @pete6 - When did your issues begin? I was on the phone with Google support for 1-hour on May 24, 2022. The "Home" technician and "Camera" technician kept passing me off to the other. In the end it was a big waste of time and neither could identify why the functionality was removed that day (and continues to not work).

I think it's been 3 days of turning the floodlight on and off manually. I can share your feelings about Google support. Was on the phone for over 3 hours and 2 or 3 different help centers to get my Nest Aware working again after reinstalling the camera/floodlight a few months back. Was just reading related articles on Reddit.
