Best Doorbell (battery) will not factory reset

Doorbell disconnected from wifi. Tried to factory reset but it will never do the count down chime. Have held reset button for over 2 minutes and doorbell will just cycle from green to white. Roughly 2 years old

Thanks for posting in the community. 

I understand you're having trouble resetting your Nest Doorbell battery, and I also appreciate your effort in trying it on your own. 

Here are the correct steps; please follow them: 

With the doorbell connected to its charger:

  1. Locate the reset pinhole on the back (below the USB port).
  2. Insert a pin (paperclip or thumbtack) and hold for 10 seconds.
  3. The light will blink yellow four times, and you'll hear a countdown tone.
  4. Keep holding for an additional 2 seconds until the light turns solid yellow and you hear a confirmation tone. This is the crucial step for a successful reset.

After Reset:

  • Your doorbell will appear "offline" in the app.
  • Remove it from the app. Settings > Remove Device > Confirm.

If the reset fails after following these steps, please let me know.
