Bought a new home with google door bell, how to deactivate it from the previous owner?

I scanned the QR code behind the doorbell but the app says it was already registered with a user, is there a way to reset it without having to contact the previous owner? - like the Nest Thermostat which can be reset in the setting.

You will need to press the reset button, which is at the back of the doorbell. You can press & hold the reset button for about 15 seconds, with a pin or sim ejector tool. Its a tiny hole in the top half of the back of the doorbell. This should remove all settings and then you re-setup with your own google account
