Hi,
I just received a nest doorbell as a gift and have been trying to set it up. When I plug the doorbell in with the provided cable the light goes white for about 5 seconds and then yellow for about another 5 seconds then shuts off. When I try connect it through the google home app it doesn't come up as I don't believe it is actually on. I've tried resetting through the little hole in the back and makes no difference. Is there something else I should try/do or is the doorbell faulty.
Thanks

Perhaps the battery in your doorbell needs charging. If the status light slowly blinks yellow, that's supposed to mean a "Battery issue":
If you leave it plugged in (it supposedly takes about 5 hours to fully charge - https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11052520) and still can't get the Google Home app to recognize it, you could try contacting Support:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
