I recently changed BOTH my Wi-Fi username and Wi-Fi password. My cameras became off-line. I tried resetting each camera by pressing in the button between the speaker and the code. And then adding them as a new device on the Google Home app. (This is the app I use previously for the indoor/outdoor battery nest cam).
I am not able to get the camp connected to my new network. I do not have the QR codes so I inputted the six digit code on the back of the camera. The codes appear to be correct. Once it gets to pairing the device I get the error message ..what next?

Similar issue here but have moved house and have made a new account. Removed wireless 2nd gen cameras from my old account but they do not come up automatically and error when I try to add manually with the code.

Google Nest does not make changing Wi-Fi networks easy. Usually, it works to remove the Google Nest device from the Google Nest app or Google Home app while still on the old Wi-Fi network, then do a factory reset on the device, and then re-install it in the Google Nest app or Google Home app while on the new Wi-Fi network.
