Camera update has stopped adding zone name to camera alerts

The recent update has stopped adding the zone name to the text message alerts for the outdoor camera.  This is important for me to know which zone has been activated, rather than “person seen” or “vehicle seen”.  I have deleted and readded a zone to test and this didn’t change the behavior.  This just makes it more difficult to know which alert to react to which urgency or not.  Unacceptable.   Has this also been encountered by others and what is the remedy?

Hello,  Long time nest here.   I still use the NEST app for many reasons including this one.  Is there a chance you just started using the Google Home App as I'm pretty sure that it has never included zone name.  I have asked for this for over  a year in the feed-back section and here are and it still has been implemented.

Hello, thanks for the reply.  I’ve used the Home app since I installed the camera a couple years ago. I’ve gotten the zone name in the alerts since I set up the zones at that time until the most recent app update a couple days ago.  I’ll try the Nest app to see if the zone name shows…it’s really important for me to know which zone has been tripped for obvious reasons. Unacceptable to not have this information when it is available to the app.

I completely agree that the ZONE name in the alert is important.   I remember moving my Gen 1 cams to the Google Home app last year and there were many things I didn't like.   I'm fairly sure that lack of zone name in the alerts was one reason.    One more thing.  I view most of nest cams  from my computer browser using HOME.NEST.COM  where zone names are a big part of how the timeline works.   But when I use HOME.GOOGE.COME for camera viewing there are no zone names included anywhere that I can see.   I have sent feedback to them and here we are at least a year later and no zone names.    It feels to me like they fired all the original design team and no one there knows how anything works anymore.
