I have the hardwired Nest doorbell. Previously owned the Nest Hello doorbell but the internal battery died after a few years.
The doorbell is pretty much a necessity for me as I can be alerted to packages and other events. I do subscribe to Nest Aware as I also have other cameras on my plan. There has been some pushback to the Nest Aware pricing increases by other community members, media and users.
In my experience, the hardware works great and the video quality is excellent. No problems handling the extreme heat from my region. No problems at all. The notifications are my number one most used feature.
I'm sure some other community members can add to this but that's my quick take!
