Can't get the chimes on Google doorbell (battery) to work with Sonos or google nest mini

Is it not possible to get the Google doorbell (battery) to ring on Sonos Move? (I have also set-up Sonos in the Google Home app)

The place you set-up  the sound in the Google Home app looks inactive. It also says: "Electronic sound devices don't work with your doorbell, when it runs on battery" - can this be true? Why is it called a doorbell then? It it connected to wifi - so I don't understand why it is not possible to give a sound notification, when someone 'rings' the doorbell? I even tried buying a Google nest mini as well - didn't either. 

Will it work with google nest hub?
