For some inexplicable reason, I cannot turn down the volume all the way on the feed to my Nest Camera. Why? I don't want to turn off the microphone, I need to record / capture audio. But I need to be able to turn the volume all the way down, why can’t I do this? It feels like a bug since I can’t imagine why this would be intentional. I just want to turn the volume all the way down, please advise!

I watching the feed on an iPad Pro, but the issue also happens on my iPhone (13 Pro). My older Nest Camera feeds can be muted but the latest versions of the hardware can't. It is very frustrating.

I need further assistance. The audio settings do not affect the playback volume of the camera feed if I'm watching it live. The only option I have is totally disable the "Audio recording" which I definitely do not want. I simply want to have the option to completely silence the Live feed on my devices and it's extremely frustrating that I cannot perform this basic task.
After some digging, it looks like the application is designed to use the "phone volume" controls on iOS and this is unable to be totally muted. I'm not sure why that decision was made but it looks like a lot of other users report the same issue and frustrations.

I have sent this feedback in multiple times. It looks like a lot of other folks have too but I've never received a response. In my mind, this is definitely NOT a feature request, this is a bug.
